Glynn Perry

A proven leader and strategist, Glynn Perry brings decades of experience as a senior leader to his roles as a board member, executive coach and C-Suite advisor. In these capacities, he provides his deep expertise in operations, strategy and human resources.

As an experienced board member, Glynn was selected to serve on the Board of Encore Leadership Advisors, on the Business Advisory Council of the College of Business at Kansas State University, on the Advisory Board for the Federation of State Medical Boards, and the American Red Cross. As an advocate for several non-profit organizations, he previously served as Campaign Chairman and President for United Way, where he focused on fundraising activities. As a Board Director at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Glynn was involved in strategic planning, the CEO Search Committee, and the Central Kentucky Cancer Program, where he worked on fundraising as well as program development. His experience also includes serving on the board of the Industrial Economic Development Organization, focusing on labor relations and community development.

As a long-time, Fortune 500 executive, Glynn has a proven track record of developing and executing strategies in challenging, often crisis-laden business environments, and provides expertise, insight and clarity to complex situations involving executive leadership, M&A and related integration, divestitures, cost transformation and fiscal stewardship, among other critical business areas. He also has deep experience in leading successful teams in business transformation, strategic planning, and risk and supply chain management situations marked by a wide range of strategic, operational, technology, human capital, and industrial decisions.

Glynn’s diverse career includes key leadership roles as a Business Unit President for a multi-billion-dollar business as well as his expansive C-Suite roles for a Fortune 500 company, evidencing a versatility that adds significant value across functions. In partnership with executive leadership, he is known for his efforts in refocusing companies for global growth, restructuring leadership teams and driving operational improvement. In addition, as an Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Officer, Glynn has led business turnarounds, company-wide transformation initiatives and driven critical M&A and divestiture activities by leveraging the intersection of organizational development, technology and data analytics.

A lifelong learner, Glynn recently achieved NACD Directorship Certification, the nation’s premier certification program for board directors providing a tangible assessment of a director’s understanding of essential knowledge required to lead in the boardroom. He also has completed his Private Company and Governance certificate through the Private Directors Association (PDA). A frequent conference speaker and panel participant, Glynn is also a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member focused on executive coaching and DISC profile administration & interpretation.

A graduate of Kansas State University, he received his MBA from Eastern Illinois University. After a successful college baseball career, he was drafted by the New York Yankees, where he played for a minor league affiliate. Glynn and his wife, Marketi, have two adult children and are active in many local community and charitable organizations. When not spending time with his wife and family, his passions include sporting events, landscaping activities, and home improvement projects.
